These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of signwander.com (the “Site”) and the services, content, and memberships offered by Sign & Wander, Inc. (“Sign & Wander,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Sign & Wander provides Deaf-led American Sign Language (ASL) and interpreter skill-development education, including self-paced practice videos, resources, and a membership (“Wanderer Membership”) that may be offered now or in the future. Our content is for educational and practice purposes.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase a membership or enter into these Terms.
Joining our waitlist lets you receive launch updates, early access, and promotional offers. Joining does not guarantee membership, pricing, or availability, and any offers (including launch pricing) are subject to change and availability.
When paid memberships become available, membership fees and billing terms will be presented at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe; by purchasing, you authorize the applicable charge. Memberships do not renew automatically — your card is not charged on a recurring basis, and you choose whether to renew at the end of each term. All payments are final and non-refundable, including both monthly and annual memberships. Any promotional or founding pricing is subject to availability and the terms presented at the point of purchase.
All content on the Site and in our memberships — including videos, lessons, text, graphics, logos, and the “Sign & Wander” name and compass mark — is owned by or licensed to Sign & Wander, Inc. You may access this content for your own personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, share login access, or publicly display our content without our written permission.
You agree not to misuse the Site or services, including by attempting unauthorized access, sharing membership access, scraping or copying content, or using the services for any unlawful purpose.
Our Site may include links to or embedded content from third parties (such as YouTube). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties.
Our content is provided for educational purposes “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the content will meet a particular outcome, certification, or professional result. Use of our materials is at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sign & Wander, Inc. and its owners and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in the District of Columbia, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
